Lanette “Lenny” Krueger, 75, of Rhinelander, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Tomahawk Health Services under the care of Compassus Hospice. Lenny was born December 28, 1946 in Oshkosh to Lyle and Isabel (Bovee) Jolin, Sr. She was married to Robert Krueger who preceded her in death. Lenny had been a chef at various restaurants in the Rhinelander area and later owned and operated Lanette’s Affordable Shop in Crandon until she retired and moved back to Rhinelander. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing. She was a lifelong Packer fan. She enjoyed listening to old country music, and reading. Lenny also enjoyed going to Jazzercize with her family, followed by good Wisconsin pizza! She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. She dearly loved her family and her cats, Patches and Cheena. Lenny is survived by her siblings, Diona Jolin, Tomah; Lyle “John” (Vicki) Jolin, Jr., Phoenix, AZ; Roxanne Jolin, Fond du lac; Donald (Teri) Jolin, Oshkosh; Deborah (Bruce) Peetz, Tomahawk; Darlene (Dennis) Klein, Gilman; Lexine Gauthier, Rhinelander; Jeffrey Jolin, Eagle River; and Sheila (Paul) Matuszak, Green Bay. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews whom always said, it’s not a party until Lenny shows up. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert; brother, Gary Jolin; brothers in law, Elmer Gauthier and Bill Milner. Lenny’s family will celebrate her life privately. Krueger Family Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family. You may view the obituary and share online condolences at kruegerfamilyfuneral.com
