My condolences on the loss of Kitty. I got to know her and Bill well thru my own parents and ties to St Mary’s School. She was a treat to say hi to every day we saw each other as she volunteered at the school library. I will miss her

I first met Mrs. Reich when she came to work at Washington School. I was in third grade. I remember her sweet way of handling all of the squirrelly students. She was stern without being mean…never needing to raise her voice. She reentered my life in Jr. High when I started hanging out at the Reich house with Dee. Again, dealing with squirrelly kids…except this time I was one of them! From telling us to turn down the music to telling us to stop talking and go to sleep…always stern without being mean! She had a sweet way of letting us know she was in charge. The only time I heard her raise her voice was when we got into her spice cabinet for Truth or Dare!
My deepest sympathy to the Reich family.

Mom Reich was the neighborhood mom to all of us. She removed splinters and leeches, bandaged scraped knees and elbows, rescued kids stuck in trees, and baked the best homemade bread and cookies in the world. Her unconditional love, caring spirit, and warm smile made the world a better place for us all. I am so Blessed and grateful that I got to call her Mom for all these years; so grateful her children shared her so freely with the rest of us. My heart is broken but I know she is in a better place; reunited with Beth, Punchy and the love of her life. Sincerest condolences to my other family. My heart is with you all! Much, much love!
