Melvin L. Gaedtke, 65, of Forest Road, Tomahawk, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018 at Tomahawk Health Services.
Mel was born October 21, 1953 in Wausau to Almon and Vivian (Berg) Gaedtke. He was employed for 30 years at Simmons Juvenile Products in New London, Wisconsin. Mel moved to the Tomahawk area in 2005 following retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cutting fire wood.
Survivors include his 3 brothers, Charles and Calvin Gaedtke both of Tomahawk and Randy Gaedtke of Weston. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Grace and two brothers, Don and Ray.
A celebration of Melvin Gaedtke’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 4 until 6:00 p.m. at Krueger Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services. His cremated remains will be buried on the family lot in Greenwood Cemetery in the spring.
